Lech Poznań signs goalkeeper Mateusz Lis and eyes centre‑back Jewgienij Skyba

Lech Poznań has reached an agreement with Turkish Süper Lig side Göztepe to bring back Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Lis. The transfer fee is reported to be around €1 million and the 29‑year‑old is expected to sign a three‑year contract. Lis spent the last three seasons with Göztepe, playing 35 matches and keeping 16 clean sheets, and previously featured for clubs in Poland, France and England.

The club is also monitoring Ukrainian centre‑back Jewgienij Skyba, who has spent the last half‑season with Czech side MFK Karvina after moving from Ukrainian second‑division side Chornomorets Odesa. Skyba, 23, is listed at a price of roughly €500 000 and is also being pursued by Górnik Zabrze. Lech’s transfer window agenda includes strengthening the squad with a new goalkeeper, a left‑back, a central midfielder and a right‑winger, while Skyba would add depth to the defensive line.

Both moves are part of Lech’s broader plan to reinforce the squad for the upcoming season and to compete on domestic and European fronts.
