Lech Poznań striker Mikael Ishak sidelined by injury
Lech Poznań faces significant squad challenges ahead of their upcoming matches. Club captain and striker Mikael Ishak is expected to be sidelined for approximately three weeks due to a hamstring injury sustained during the Europa League qualifying match against KI Klaksvik.
Ishak's absence will impact both European competition and domestic league fixtures. He is expected to miss the upcoming two-legged tie against FC Thun, as well as league matches against Widzew Łódź, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Raków Częstochowa. A return to action is tentatively projected for the match against Górnik Zabrze around September 12.
Additionally, the squad has dealt with logistical issues involving Yannick Agnero and Terry Yegbe, who recently traveled to Africa to renew their visas. While Agnero is expected to be available for selection, coach Niels Frederiksen noted that the travel was not an optimal situation for maintaining physical conditioning. Daniel Hakans has been mentioned as a potential option to fill the forward position.
