Lech Wałęsa souvenir design competition launched in Poland

The national competition ‘Pamiątka z Polski – Polish Souvenirs’ has announced a new design challenge titled ‘Lech Wałęsa – Symbol of Freedom’. With official consent from former President Lech Wałęsa to use his likeness, the initiative seeks to create a high-value artistic souvenir that represents Polish pride and history.

The competition invites designers, artists, students of art and design, and souvenir manufacturers to submit projects. The goal is to move beyond generic gadgets to create an iconic piece of modern design that serves as a cultural ambassador for Poland on the global stage.
