Lechetón 2026 aims to collect 46,000 liters of milk

The XVI edition of Lechetón Activo 20-30 aims to collect 46,000 liters of milk to support vulnerable children, adolescents, and seniors across various provinces. The collection drive is scheduled for September 26 and 27.

Organized by the Club Activo 20-30 in partnership with Tetra Pak, the Dominican Scouts, and several supermarket chains, the initiative seeks to provide a daily glass of milk for approximately three months to recipients. Donations can be made at designated collection points in major supermarket chains including La Sirena and Jumbo across multiple locations such as Santo Domingo, Santiago, La Romana, and Puerto Plata.

The collected milk will be distributed to numerous foundations and care homes, including Aldeas Infantiles SOS and Hogar Doña Chucha, to promote adequate nutrition and physical and cognitive development.
