Lechia Gdańsk nears signings of Christo Iwanow and Kacper Łopata

Lechia Gdańsk is nearing the acquisition of two new players to strengthen its squad. The club is expected to sign Bulgarian midfielder Christo Iwanow from the Portuguese side Vizela. Iwanow, a 25-year-old with two senior appearances for the Bulgarian national team and extensive experience in the Bulgarian top flight, has already begun training with the team and is expected to undergo medical tests.

Additionally, the club is close to securing center-back Kacper Łopata. The 24-year-old is currently under contract with Barnsley FC, though the English club does not intend to keep him. The team is also reportedly searching for a striker, with rumors linking them to Romanian forward Vladislav Blanut.
