Leclerc and Hamilton test new Madrid F1 circuit

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton completed the first on‑track runs of the new Madrid (Madring) Formula 1 circuit. Leclerc praised the layout, describing it as a “monumental” curve that will be “great” for qualifying and could become an iconic corner of the season. He added that the new hybrid track “will improve the experience” once the grandstand is built.

Hamilton was more cautious, noting that the surface was dusty and offered little grip, with temperatures around 60 °C and narrow sections that make overtaking difficult. He nevertheless called the experience “great” for being the first to test a brand‑new urban F1 venue.

The session highlighted the challenges and potential of the new circuit, which could become a regular feature on the Formula 1 calendar.
