Lede: Openveldstraat closure for urgent sewerage works

Openveldstraat in Lede will be temporarily closed to motorized through traffic from August 31 to September 4, 2026. The closure is necessary for urgent sewerage works being conducted by Farys near house number 58.

While through traffic is prohibited, local traffic, residents, and destination-bound vehicles may still access the street up to the work zone. A detour has been established via Wijstraat and the N442. Pedestrians and cyclists will maintain access through the area during the construction period.
