Lee and Nancy Carter to return to EastEnders

Characters Lee and Nancy Carter are set to return to the BBC soap opera EastEnders this autumn. Their return is part of a major storyline marking the final months of Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, on the show.

Kellie Bright, who has portrayed Linda Carter since 2013, recently announced her departure, stating that “now is the right time” to leave the role. Executive producer Ben Wadey described the departure as a “big moment” for the programme and praised Bright as a “phenomenal actor.”

Danny-Boy Hatchard will reprise his role as Lee Carter, while Maddy Hill returns as Nancy Carter. The storyline is expected to feature significant dramatic developments, with Wadey promising that the first major cliff-hanger will leave viewers stunned.
