Lee Chaeyeon to make Japanese debut with new single

Lee Chaeyeon, a former member of the K-pop group IZ*ONE, has announced her official debut in Japan. She is set to release her first Japanese single, ‘Boku no Koe (My Voice)’, on October 8.

Lee will be the inaugural artist for D1 RECORDS, a newly established music label by DayOneDream Japan. Her debut single features a J-ROCK style characterized by refreshing band sounds and electric guitar riffs, marking a shift in focus toward her vocal expression and emotional delivery.

The release will also include a Japanese version of ‘No Tears On The Dancefloor’, the title track from her fourth Korean mini-album ‘Till I Die’. In a statement, Lee expressed her excitement about starting her musical activities in Japan and her desire to connect with Japanese fans through her voice and new forms of expression.
