Lee Group to develop 450-hectare industrial park in Ogun State

Governor Dapo Abiodun is scheduled to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for a new 450-hectare industrial park in Ogun State on November 12, 2026. Developed by the Lee Group, a multinational conglomerate, the ultra-modern complex will be located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near the Sagamu Interchange in Makun Village.

The industrial park is designed to house 29 factories producing various goods, including footwear, leather products, plastics, packaging materials, personal care products, and household items. In addition to manufacturing, the site will include commercial and recreational facilities such as conference halls and hospitality services.

Strategically positioned to serve the consumer markets of Ogun and Lagos states, the development aims to act as a gateway to the West African corridor. The project is expected to drive economic growth by creating direct and indirect employment, stimulating local supply chains, and increasing private-sector participation in the regional economy.
