Lee Kang-in leads Atletico Madrid in several statistical categories

Lee Kang-in is receiving significant praise in Spain for his performance with Atletico Madrid. According to reports from Marca, Lee has proven his value through high-level statistical output, countering earlier club assertions that his signing was not merely for commercial purposes or jersey sales.

Through the first 10 rounds of the La Liga season, Lee has led his team in several key metrics, including shots on target (16), successful dribbles (16), and duels won (38). He also ranks second on the team for fouls drawn with 11.

Spanish media noted that Lee’s ability to balance offensive creativity with defensive commitment aligns with the high-work-rate philosophy emphasized by manager Diego Simeone. Lee, who joined the club in July and wears the number 7 jersey previously held by Antoine Griezmann, has recorded 2 goals and 1 assist in 12 official appearances so far this season.
