Lee Ki-yoon donates 1 billion won to Uiseong County scholarships

Lee Ki-yoon, Chairman of GK Asset and former honorary head of Danbuk-myeon, has donated 1 billion won to the Uiseong County Talent Cultivation Foundation. The funds are intended to support local students' academic pursuits and improve the educational environment in Uiseong County.

Lee has a long history of philanthropy in his hometown. Since 2006, his cumulative donations to the Uiseong region have reached approximately 2.17 billion won, which includes 300 million won provided to residents affected by forest fires last year.

Beyond local community support, Lee has contributed significantly to the medical field. He has donated a total of 3 billion won to Yonsei University Health System, including funds for lung cancer drug development, the construction of the Yonsei Cancer Hospital, and the acquisition of heavy ion therapy equipment.
