Lee Miller photography exhibition to open at San Domenico Museum

The Museo Civico San Domenico in Forlì will host a photography exhibition dedicated to American photographer Lee Miller from October 10, 2026, to January 10, 2027. Curated by Walter Guadagnini, the exhibition will feature over 160 images from the Lee Miller Archives, covering her work between 1930 and 1955.

The collection explores Miller’s diverse career, which spanned surrealist photography, fashion for Vogue, and war correspondence. The exhibition highlights her transition from a model and assistant in Man Ray’s studio to a significant artist in her own right, noting her involvement with the surrealist movement and her documentation of Nazi concentration camps following the Allied advance.
