Lee Min-ho discusses learning to spend time alone

Actor Lee Min-ho shared insights into his personal growth regarding independence during an appearance on the YouTube channel ‘Zzanbros’ hosted by Shin Dong-yup. Appearing alongside co-stars Ryu Hye-young and Kim Dae-myung, Lee revealed that he only began learning how to spend time alone in his mid-30s.

Lee explained that because he has always been surrounded by family, friends, and staff, he rarely had the need to navigate situations solo. He noted that he only recently began practicing being alone, such as traveling to airports or dining by himself, to ensure he would not struggle with solitude in the future. While he initially found solo activities like dining in Japan to be awkward, he has since become comfortable with them, though he maintains that he finds more happiness in sharing meals and experiences with others.

Lee, Ryu, and Kim are set to appear together in the upcoming film ‘Assassins’.
