Lee Sang Soon suspends radio activities due to health issues

Singer-songwriter Lee Sang Soon has suspended his broadcasting activities due to a diagnosis of vagus nerve dysfunction. The artist, who hosts ‘Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon’ on MBC FM4U, began experiencing health issues on August 26, during which he required medical attention at the MBC infirmary.

His agency, Antenna, confirmed that Lee is prioritizing recovery and undergoing medical examinations to determine the severity of his condition. Vagus nerve dysfunction can cause sudden drops in blood pressure and heart rate, leading to symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, cold sweats, and fainting.

While Lee remains on hiatus to focus on rest, MBC will transition his radio program to a special DJ format for the time being. Lee expressed his apologies to listeners via social media, stating he intends to return once he has fully recovered his health.
