Lee Sedol to host talk concert at Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival

Gangdong-gu in Seoul will host a special talk concert titled ‘Lee Sedol Talk Concert: The Divine Move’ on October 18 at the Amsa-dong Prehistoric Site forest stage. The event is organized in conjunction with the 31st Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival.

Professional Go player Lee Sedol will share insights from his career, including his historic match against the artificial intelligence AlphaGo. The discussion will focus on the process of making decisions on the Go board and how those moments of judgment relate to the choices faced in life. The session, moderated by entertainer Park Jae-min, is expected to host approximately 130 participants through pre-registration and on-site applications.

The broader Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival, themed ‘Amsa, the Beginning of Seoul,’ will run from October 16 to 18. The festival will feature various programs, including opening and closing performances, media facades, prehistoric barbecue experiences, and Neolithic archaeology workshops.
