Lee Woo-seok wins two gold medals in archery at Asian Games

South Korean archer Lee Woo-seok secured two gold medals at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. After winning gold in the men's team event, Lee claimed the individual recurve gold by defeating Japan's Nakanishi Junya with a set score of 6-2 in the final.

Lee's path to the individual title included a semifinal victory over India's Diraaz Bommadevara, where he won 7-3. This victory marks Lee's first individual gold medal at a major multi-sport international competition, following previous medals in the 2018 and 2023 Asian Games.

In the overall archery standings, South Korea finished second with three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. India took first place in the archery competition, securing five gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
