Leeds cafe owner seeks justice after burglary at The Engine Room Cafe

Fiona West, owner of The Engine Room Cafe in Leeds, has expressed distress following a burglary at her business in the Hunslet area. The raid, which occurred on 14 July, resulted in approximately £1,500 in damages and the theft of over £500 worth of food and stock.

West reported that despite customers identifying the suspects, she feels the police response has been inadequate. She stated that the incident has left her feeling unsafe and has caused significant emotional strain on her small business. West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the matter remains a live investigation and that officers are making inquiries into the identities of the suspects.
