Leeds Rhinos receive injury boost ahead of St Helens match

Leeds Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur has confirmed a significant injury boost ahead of the team's upcoming match against St Helens. Scrum-half and reigning Man of Steel Jake Connor is expected to play despite an injury scare during a recent victory over York Knights. Connor had left the field due to calf tightness following a shin injury, but Arthur stated he is “on track to train today and play this week.”

Additionally, hooker Danny Levi is set to return from a long-term neck injury sustained in July. Arthur noted that Levi will likely be introduced as a substitute during the second half to ease him back into competition. Centre Jack Bird is also expected to feature in the lineup after successfully completing concussion protocols.
