Leeds Rhinos sign Edenn Rogers-Smith to two-year deal

Leeds Rhinos have signed Australian forward Edenn Rogers-Smith to a two-year contract starting in the 2027 season. The 27-year-old back-rower joins the club following his departure from Super League rivals Catalans Dragons.

Rogers-Smith previously played in the French domestic competition with Carcassonne before making his Super League debut with Catalans in July. His career includes time in the Sydney Roosters system and appearances in the New South Wales Cup for the Western Suburbs Magpies and North Sydney Bears.

This marks the third major signing for the Rhinos for 2027, following the acquisitions of Morgan Gannon from the New Zealand Warriors and Dylan Walker from the Parramatta Eels. Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur noted that Rogers-Smith is a mobile, physical forward with significant potential for further development.
