Leeds United manager Daniel Farke to sign contract extension

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is set to sign a new contract extension that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029. The agreement in principle follows reports that Farke has parted ways with his agent to facilitate the deal, which serves as a show of confidence from the club's ownership.

On the pitch, Leeds United currently sits seventh in the Premier League after seven matches. While the team has shown defensive organization, recent performances in the EFL Cup have highlighted the challenges of competing across multiple competitions. To bolster the squad for the second half of the season, the club is reportedly considering a January transfer move for striker Lukas Nmecha, provided a replacement can be secured.
