Leeds United manages multiple transfer interests and player exits

Leeds United is navigating several transfer developments involving key players. The club has reignited interest in Brazilian winger Igor Paixao, who is currently at Feyenoord. Marseille is reportedly seeking approximately £42.7 million for Paixao due to their own financial difficulties. Leeds may use goalkeeper Lucas Perri as leverage in negotiations, as Marseille is currently pressing to sign him. Perri, who joined Leeds for £15.6 million from Lyon, is being pursued by Marseille and Torino.

Separately, striker Joel Piroe is seeking an exit from Leeds United before the transfer window closes. While Piroe’s representatives expressed interest in a move, they claim the club’s asking price of £16 million plus bonuses is unrealistic given his limited playing time last season. Piroe, whose contract runs until June 2027, has seen his role diminish since the club's promotion. While interest has been noted from clubs in England and La Liga, no bids have yet met Leeds' valuation.
