Leeds United have lodged a concrete bid for Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, valuing him at €30 million (about £26 m) and proposing a long‑term contract that would run to 2031.

The 23‑year‑old impressed at the 2026 World Cup, making four saves in Japan’s 2‑1 Round‑of‑32 defeat to Brazil, including a stop on Vinícius Júnior. His World Cup performances have drawn interest from other Premier League clubs, with Aston Villa also reported to be monitoring the transfer.

Parma have set a firm minimum price of €30 million and are unwilling to negotiate below that.
