Juventus negotiate for Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario amid financial hurdles

Juventus sporting director Giovanni Carnevali has opened direct talks with Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi about acquiring goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. After Aston Villa rejected a move for Emiliano Martínez, Vicario became Juventus’ primary target, with Tottenham demanding a €15‑20 million fee that the Serie A club deems high.

Juventas’ finances add complexity: the club must sell its current number‑one, Michele Di Gregorio, to fund the deal, and officials have suggested a loan arrangement could ease the burden. Juventus boss Luciano Spalletti has already been in direct contact with Vicario, signalling the club’s intention to resolve its goalkeeping situation.

Brazilian forward Richarlison is also on Juventus’ radar as a fallback option, while the club continues to pursue Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint‑Germain.
