Leeds United set condition for Lukas Nmecha sale

Leeds United will only consider selling striker Lukas Nmecha during the January transfer window if the club can secure an adequate replacement. The 27-year-old forward, who joined from VfL Wolfsburg, has seen his playing time limited under manager Daniel Farke and is reportedly seeking more regular minutes.

Several clubs have expressed interest in the striker, including Bundesliga side FC Köln, as well as English teams Southampton and Wrexham. Leeds is currently monitoring potential targets to bolster their attack, with names such as Esteban Lepaul from Rennes and Nicolo Tresoldi from Club Brugge being linked to the club.

Nmecha's future is further complicated by contract negotiations, as he is currently on a deal that could allow him to leave as a free agent at the end of the season. The club's decision to sanction a sale depends on maintaining sufficient depth in the forward line to support Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
