Leef Blattwerk GmbH files for insolvency

Leef Blattwerk GmbH has filed for insolvency with the Potsdam District Court, as has its parent company, Leef Holding GmbH. The filing, made on September 29, is due to a lack of liquidity following the decision by shareholders to cease their monthly short-term financing.

The company stated that it was unable to secure alternative funding and that out-of-court restructuring or proceedings under the StaRUG act are no longer viable options. This development directly impacts the repayment and servicing of two corporate bonds issued by Leef Blattwerk GmbH, including one issued as recently as March this year for growth financing.

This insolvency follows recent positive statements from CEO Jens Christoph regarding business development and expansion plans for 2026 and 2027.
