Lefkoşa reports multiple accidents and local incidents

A series of local incidents occurred in Lefkoşa and surrounding areas. A 66-year-old resident, Nursen Yenen, passed away at the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital after falling ill during a wedding at a local hotel.

In separate incidents, 48-year-old Bulut İbrahimoğulları was seriously injured after his bicycle struck a steel barrier on the Geçitkale-Tatlısu main road. Additionally, 20-year-old Yunus Khaled was admitted to intensive care following a workplace accident in Haspolat involving a broken spiral machine stone.

Other reported events include the arrest of a suspect at the Beyarmudu Kara Crossing Point for the theft of shaving blades in Minareliköy, and administrative fines issued to two individuals for illegal grouper fishing in Karaoğlanoğlu.
