Lega party prepares for federal congress in Milan

The Lega party is preparing for its federal congress, scheduled for October 24 and 25 in Milan. The event is expected to serve as a platform for political and organizational renewal, focusing on territorial challenges and programmatic growth.

Internal dynamics are a key focus, specifically the leadership contest between Matteo Salvini and Massimo Garavaglia. Mario Abbruzzese, the head of Lega Lazio Organization, characterized the competition not as a split, but as an opportunity for constructive debate and the enrichment of different political sensitivities within the movement.

The congress aims to address concrete issues affecting citizens, including security, tax reduction through the flat tax, the 'Quota 64' proposal, housing plans, and support for caregivers and schools.
