Lega Navale Italiana hosts maritime event at Circo Massimo

The Lega Navale Italiana (LNI) is participating in the Villaggio Difesa event at the Circo Massimo in Rome from October 30 to November 4. Located in Area J near the Italian Navy's mobile center, the LNI stand aims to introduce children, youth, and adults to sailing and nautical sports.

Visitors can use an Optimist sailing simulator guided by LNI instructors to learn basic maneuvers and navigation principles. The event also features the association's mascot, Tobia, to promote marine environmental education.

The initiative highlights several LNI projects focused on water safety and sustainability, including the 'Carta dei Valori', the 'Eliche Responsabili' campaign for propeller accident prevention, and the 'Ventalogo del Mare' initiative developed with Marevivo to promote safe and sustainable use of seas, lakes, and rivers.
