Riccardo Breda re-elected President of Maremma and Tyrrhenian Chamber of Commerce

Riccardo Breda has been re-elected to a third term as President of the Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and the Tyrrhenian. In a secret ballot involving 17 council members, Breda received 16 votes in favor and one abstention.

Breda, an entrepreneur from Grosseto, has led the entity since its formation in 2016 following the merger of the Grosseto and Livorno chambers. His new mandate, which lasts until 2031, will focus on supporting local businesses, territorial development, and improving infrastructure to connect the coastline with the hinterland.

The election was attended by various regional and local authorities, including Tuscany's regional assessor for economy Leonardo Marras and the mayors of Livorno and Grosseto. During the proceedings, Enrico Sostegni of Legacoop Toscana abstained from voting, citing a perceived lack of sufficient attention toward the cooperative sector in recent years.
