Legal actions taken in bullying and foundation abuse cases

In San Juan, Argentina, a family has initiated legal action following years of alleged bullying against their daughter at a local school. The legal representative, Cristina Soriano, stated that the repeated aggressions by several classmates caused severe emotional distress, requiring psychiatric and psychological care. The situation escalated on July 30, when the minor suffered an anxiety attack and fainted at the school. Soriano reported a lack of internal documentation or formal records regarding the incident or the previous years of harassment, leading to a complaint filed with the Ministry of Education and a criminal report in Juvenile Court.

In the Dominican Republic, Aurora Muñoz has defended her brother, Isaías Ramón Muñoz Rodríguez, who was detained in connection with the Fundación Renovando Vida, Un Muerto que Revive investigation in Haina. Muñoz claims her brother was an inpatient at the foundation for approximately four months to address alcohol and drug issues, rather than a father to any of the minors involved. She asserted that while he did transport children to other locations, he did so under the instructions of Pastor Ángel Gabriel Capellán. She denied witnessing any mistreatment during his stay and is calling for his release.
