Legal and property sectors launch new mental health workplace training
Professional organizations in the legal and property sectors have introduced new training initiatives to improve mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
LawCare, a legal sector mental health charity, has launched a free online course as part of its ‘Fit for Law’ series. Developed in collaboration with the University of Sheffield and The Open University, the course provides practical guidance for managers, HR professionals, and team leaders. It aims to help organizations create supportive environments where employees feel comfortable speaking openly about their wellbeing.
The Conveyancing Foundation has also introduced a Mental Health Champion course specifically for conveyancers and property professionals. Delivered in partnership with Today’s Media, the training covers topics such as managing stress, reducing workplace stigma, and conducting empathetic conversations regarding mental health challenges. Participants who complete the sessions receive a certificate of achievement and access to additional support resources.
