In Mexico, the Human Rights Commission (CDH) is investigating allegations of police aggression against searching families during a protest in Mundial. The investigation follows an incident on June 30 where police reportedly used force to prevent a blockade on Calzada de Tlalpan. CDH official Sofía de Robina stated that the commission is examining potential violations of rights to integrity, freedom of expression, and social protest. The commission is also providing health services to victims affected by both the physical altercations and the ongoing psychological impact of searching for missing loved ones.
