Legal developments in Ankara and Uşak municipal investigations

In Ankara, the 16th Enforcement Criminal Court has issued a public notification regarding Bilal Bozgeyik. Bozgeyik was sentenced to a judicial fine of 387,350 TL for the crime of issuing a non-sufficient funds check, in accordance with the Check Law No. 5941. The court determined the daily fine unit to be 40,000 TL based on the defendant's economic and personal circumstances.

In Uşak, Cihan Aras, a municipal employee previously detained as part of a bribery and irregularity investigation involving the Uşak Municipality, has been released. Following his release, Aras issued a statement on social media thanking those who supported him during his imprisonment. The investigation had previously led to the arrest of 13 individuals, including former Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım.
