Legal professionals in Argentina celebrate Lawyers Day

Legal professionals in Argentina celebrated Lawyers Day through various commemorative events in Berazategui and La Matanza.

In Berazategui, the Colegio de Abogados del Departamento Judicial de Quilmes held its first celebration in the city at the Roberto De Vicenzo Municipal Activity Center. The event included an awards ceremony for professionals with 50 years of experience. Mayor Carlos Balor attended the ceremony, emphasizing the ongoing institutional relationship between the municipality and the Bar Association.

In La Matanza, the Colegio de Abogados de La Matanza (CALM) marked its 30th anniversary. Mayor Fernando Espinoza participated in the ceremony at the Valentín Barros Cultural Center in San Justo. The event honored jurists with 35 and 50 years of professional practice and included a special tribute to Justino ‘Pampi’ Rivas, the founder and first president of the College.
