Legal rulings issued in separate homicide cases in Mexico and Argentina
In Tijuana, Mexico, Óscar “N” has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the qualified homicide of a three-year-old child. The incident occurred on May 24, 2013, in the Lomas de San Pedro neighborhood, where the child was under the defendant's care. An autopsy revealed that the child's injuries, including traumatic brain injury, were intentional and not caused by a fall.
In a separate case in Argentina, a 35-year-old motorcyclist identified as Aguirre has been released under restrictive measures following an imputation for preterintentional homicide. The charge stems from a fatal confrontation with Omar Bonacci during a traffic dispute on October 5. While Aguirre is free, he is prohibited from leaving the province or contacting the victim's family and witnesses. The exact cause of Bonacci's death remains under investigation.
