Legal technology firms expand AI integration and professional certification
The legal technology sector is seeing significant advancements in artificial intelligence and professional certification. Litera has introduced new AI breakthroughs, including Firm AI Search via its Lito agent, designed to help law firms manage client relationships and uncover revenue opportunities by querying institutional data.
In a separate strategic move, iManage and Thomson Reuters have expanded their partnership to integrate Thomson Reuters AI and legal content with iManage’s governed organizational knowledge. This collaboration aims to support AI-powered workflows across platforms like CoCounsel Legal and HighQ while maintaining strict access controls and ethical boundaries.
Additionally, the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) has entered a multi-year partnership with BARBRI to expand eDiscovery education. The agreement includes discounts on ACEDS certification for ILTA members and the planned launch of a new eDiscovery conference in 2027. Meanwhile, Clio is hosting sessions focused on how AI-driven tools like Clio Work are transforming legal research and case strategy workflows.
