Legal technology firms launch new AI-driven tools

Thomson Reuters has launched a proprietary artificial intelligence model specifically designed for legal professionals. The move aims to provide specialized tools for research, document review, drafting, and summarization, allowing the company greater control over development and testing compared to using third-party providers.

In Spain, Clio has introduced Clio Manage and Clio Work to the market. These platforms integrate data from vLex, which Clio acquired for $1 billion last year. Clio Manage focuses on firm management, including case tracking, billing, and communications, while Clio Work utilizes AI to assist with legal research and document drafting based on vLex's legal databases.
