Legambiente conducts “Puliamo il Mondo” environmental initiatives in Italy

The “Puliamo il Mondo” initiative, organized by Legambiente, has been implemented in various Italian locations to promote environmental care and civic responsibility.

In Montanaro, fifth-grade students from the Sandro Pertini and Figlie di Carità primary schools participated in cleaning public spaces. The local administration highlighted the activity as an educational tool to teach children the importance of environmental stewardship through practical action.

In Avellino, Legambiente Avellino organized the initiative in the Borgo Ferrovia district as part of the European Week of Sustainable Mobility. The event focused on neighborhood regeneration and urban quality. In addition to cleaning efforts, organizers used the event to advocate for the rapid restoration of the Avellino railway line to improve regional sustainable mobility.
