Legendary Japanese racers to compete in mahjong crossover event

Top athletes from auto racing, keirin, and boat racing will compete against a professional mahjong player in a special crossover event titled ‘SWITCH OFF’ Extra Edition: Four-Sport Mahjong Showdown. The project aims to showcase the strategic decision-making and psychological skills of these elite competitors in a different arena.

The participants include auto racer Daisuke Nagai, keirin cyclist Shintaro Sato, boat racer Yukiya Harada, and professional mahjong player Rio Tojo. The matches and post-game discussions will be released in two parts on the official Auto Race YouTube channel, starting October 24, 2026.
