Legia Warszawa eyes roster changes with Pazdan return and Szymański departure

Legia Warszawa is reportedly considering several roster changes involving experienced players. Former Polish national team defender Michał Pazdan is close to returning to the club. The 39-year-old is expected to join Legia's reserve team in the Betclic 2 Liga, where he will also serve as a mentor to young players in the Legia Academy, utilizing his extensive experience from the Ekstraklasa and European competitions.

Simultaneously, the future of Damian Szymański remains uncertain. The 31-year-old midfielder, an 18-time Polish international, has struggled to secure a place in the starting lineup and earns a significant salary. Reports indicate that an offer for Szymański was received during the summer, and while he has not yet left, the club's management may revisit his departure during the winter transfer window as part of efforts to reduce expenditures.
