Legia Warszawa prepares 16-year-old Franciszek Stępniewski for debut

Legia Warszawa coach Marek Papszun has announced plans to prepare 16-year-old midfielder Franciszek Stępniewski for his debut with the first team. The offensive player, born in 2010, has been gaining experience in the club's reserve team playing in the second league.

Stępniewski has recorded two goals and two assists in five appearances for the reserves this season. While he has previously trained with the senior squad and appeared on the bench, Papszun noted that the player was recently sent to the reserve team to ensure he maintains match rhythm. The coach emphasized that while the talent is exceptional and the development process is moving quickly, the club will not rush the player's progression without proper preparation.
