Legislative debates emerge in Dominican Republic and Spain

In the Dominican Republic, a new draft law for Citizen Coexistence has been proposed to address urban issues such as noise, public space occupation, and traffic indiscipline. While the project aims to create a national oversight body under the Ministry of Interior and Police and establish inter-institutional coordination, critics question whether the issue stems from a lack of laws or an inability to enforce existing municipal regulations, such as Law 176-07.

In Spain, tensions have risen within the Corts Valencianes regarding the handling of Non-Legislative Propositions (PNLs). Disagreements over the parliamentary agenda have led to accusations of rule violations. The current schedule prioritizes specific propositions from the PP, PSPV, and Compromís, while the exclusion of others has sparked conflict between political groups, including Vox and left-wing parties, over the debate process.
