Legislative hearings held in Paraná and Vargem Grande do Sul

In Paraná, the Legislative Assembly (Alep) will host a public hearing on October 29 to discuss creative, local, and solidarity economies. Organized by State Deputy Goura, the event aims to identify ways to strengthen sustainable development across municipalities by valuing local culture and entrepreneurship. Confirmed participants include various organizations such as Feria Mamute, Casa 102, and the Curitiba Jazz Festival.

In Vargem Grande do Sul, representatives from educational, sports, and welfare entities met with the City Council to discuss the 2027 budget proposal. During the hearing, the Hospital de Caridade reported a monthly deficit of approximately R$ 300,000, noting that SUS reimbursements have not been adjusted since 2008. The meeting focused on how entities might access resources through mandatory amendments from city councilors.
