In Mexico, Deputy Liz Concha has proposed incorporating green infrastructure into Oaxaca’s Climate Change Law. The initiative aims to integrate natural spaces such as parks, wetlands, and rain gardens into urban planning and public works to increase city resilience against climate effects.

Concha has also engaged in regional management, meeting with mobility officials and local municipal authorities to coordinate infrastructure projects. Her recent activities included visiting communities in Pelixtitlán and San Pablo Huitzo to oversee school improvements and discuss water and communal land issues.

In Chile, the Council for Transparency (CPLT), led by President Natalia González, conducted training workshops in the O’Higgins Region. These sessions focused on the Transparency Law, teaching public officials and citizens how to exercise their right to access public information regarding municipal budgets, social programs, and health services.

Data indicates a rising trend in information requests in Chile, with 167,185 requests submitted through the Transparency Portal in the first half of 2026, marking a 6.8% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
