Legit. Health advances to Startup World Cup global final

Legit. Health, a medical technology company, has won the Basque regional final of the Startup World Cup held in Bilbao. The company will advance to the global grand finale in San Francisco on November 6, 2026, to compete for $1 million in investment against startups from approximately 100 countries.

The company utilizes artificial intelligence and computer vision to assist healthcare professionals in detecting, evaluating, and monitoring skin diseases. The tool can identify suspected malignancy from images, facilitate triage, and automatically estimate disease severity using scoring systems like the Ascorad for atopic dermatitis. Clinical evidence for the solution was developed in collaboration with Hospital Universitario Cruces and Hospital Universitario Basurto.
