Legnano administration visits Neutalia waste-to-energy plant

The new municipal administration of Legnano, led by Mayor Lorenzo Radice, conducted an institutional visit to the Neutalia waste-to-energy plant in Busto Arsizio. The delegation met with Neutalia executives to inspect the facility's operations, monitoring systems, and the progress of ongoing revamping works.

During the visit, officials observed Phase 1 of the plant's technological upgrade, which includes the installation of a new heat exchange station for district heating, the construction of a future automation and control building (DCS), and the installation of new combustion grilles. The revamping project aims to enhance energy recovery and integrated waste management. The completion of these works is expected between late 2026 and early 2027.
