LEGO and Pokémon launch 12 new Smart Play sets for kids

The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International announced the release of twelve new LEGO ® Pokémon ™ SMART Play sets. The sets, aimed at children aged 6‑10, will launch on 1 August and each include at least one LEGO SMART Brick, a charger and SMART Tags that enable lights, sounds and motion without screens. Two All‑In‑One sets and ten compatible sets feature a range of Pokémon such as Pikachu, Charizard, Bulbasaur, Gengar, Eevee, Mew and others, allowing kids to build, train, feed and battle the brick‑built creatures. Julia Goldin, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at LEGO, said the collaboration “brings together two beloved brands… so fans can build, train and interact with LEGO Pokémon.” Gaku Susai of The Pokémon Company added that the partnership expands imaginative play for a new generation of fans.
