Lego announces new Batman Returns Batmobile set

Lego has announced a new DC set featuring the Batmobile from the 1992 film ‘Batman Returns’. The 2,269-piece model is designed to be interactive, as the vehicle can split into three parts to reveal a narrower Batmissile inside.

The set includes various references to the film, such as a tracking device used by The Penguin, and comes with a Lego Batman minifigure featuring a cowl design based on Michael Keaton’s updated costume from the movie.

Lego Insiders members can purchase the set starting September 1, with a general release following on September 4. The retail price is set at €209.99 or £189.99.
