LEGO Bloom Exhibition features massive brick flower installation in Shanghai

The LEGO Bloom Exhibition at the TANK Shanghai art center features a large-scale installation titled ‘LEGO Botanical Wave’. The display consists of over 380,000 LEGO-built flowers, including roses, sunflowers, and tulips, arranged to resemble a 30-meter colorful wave spilling from an old oil tank.

Spanning approximately 800 square meters along the West Bund waterfront, the installation transforms a former heavy industrial site into a massive artificial garden. The colorful arrangement of red, yellow, orange, and white bricks creates the illusion of movement against the cylindrical concrete tanks. In addition to the outdoor wave, the exhibition includes 18 artist-led installations inside the TANK Shanghai venue.
